Dark Isle is a very  special role playing sim based in Second Life .

The sim is a land lost deep in the mists, in a world of myth,  a dark and cruel place.

Once located somewhere off the coast of the English Isles, Dark Isle now sits beyond the mist of time and space , thrown there by the wrath of the gods as witchcraft killed the one man who could keep this mythical place safe - Bran.

In the generations since Bran’s death, the island has become a bitter, unhappy realm. Recently one man has declared himself king - Constantine , Lord of House Loire.. we wonder what his rule will be like.

The Druids - once peaceful now command a twisted power, they have forbidden women the use of any sort of magic - on pain of death.

And at the bottom rungs of this society, live the peasants of the Island - caught themselves in the machinations of those who rule over them.
